Nadine Foster Baker and Samuel D Baker are the owners of God’s Creations By Nadine, an online Christian based business, established to help take the life changing word of God to children and young adults around the world.
Many children and young adults are searching for answers to life problems. They are looking for love and fulfilment in all the wrong places.
God’s Creation By Nadine markets a line of Inspirational Word Art, Affirmations, and Poetry designed to help develop hope, courage, and purpose in the lives of children and young adults by teaching them the word of God, and the gifts and talents lying dormant with in them.
Samuel and Nadine Baker have been members of Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas for over 35 years. They are active leaders in their church. They have been ministering to youth and families in crisis in Fort Bend County for the past 25 years.
Samuel & Nadine Baker grew up in Lowndes County, Alabama and married in 1983. Nadine received her Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics Education in 1982 from Tuskegee (Institute) University in Tuskegee, Alabama. She worked several years as a sewing instructor with the Cloth World Corporation and manager of the Singer Sewing Machine Department until she became a stay-at-home mother and youth minister.
After Samuel returned home from serving four years in the U.S. Navy, he and Nadine moved to Houston Texas. Samuel received his Associate Degree in Auto Body Technology from Houston Community College and has worked in the auto industry for over thirty years as an auto body technician, estimator and manager.
Samuel and Nadine Baker have two children: Samantha Baker a high school mathematics instructor and Westley Baker a formal middle school history teacher and now is an Executive with Scholastic Corporation Inc

We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God.
We believe if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and ask him to come in your life, forgive you of your sin. Jesus will come in your heart and serve as your Savior and Lord.
We believe God is a good and faithful Father. He will perform and perfect His word in the life of a believer.
We believe if a person studies the word of God, pray the word, confess the word and have faith in God, God will do a supernatural work in their life.
We believe death and life is in the power of the tongue. If you speak life words, life words will spring forth. If you speak negative or death words you will eat the fruit of what you say.
We believe by confessing the word of God on a regular basis, a believer will develop a relationship with Jesus and a prayer life that will break forth and change their lives, their family, and their environment.
GREATER THAN A BUILDING YOUTH MINISTRY A little over three decades ago, Nadine Baker watched the evening news. She was very disturbed and troubled in her spirit about the violence and crime being committed by young people in her city of Houston and the nation. As she began to pray and cry out to God to save and help these children, the Lord spoke to her heart and said, stop crying and go do something to help these children.
Samuel and Nadine F. Baker started a youth bible study in the late 80’s in their home on Friday night with local kids in the neighborhood. A few months later they started volunteering in the Fort Bend Juvenile Detention Center and soon were asked to become chaplains and coordinator of all Christian activities.
They served in the FBJDC from 1989- 2004.For the past 25 years they have worked with families in crisis, local churches, youth organizations, foster children, sponsored and coordinated several youth programs in Fort Bend County. In 1991 Samuel and Nadine F. Baker became the founders and directors of Greater Than a Building Youth Ministry, a non-profit mobile youth ministry designed to help kids stay out of trouble and stay in school so they could further their education.
GTABYM organizes youth Bible studies in local neighborhoods, youth rallies and concerts. Develop youth mentors, leaders, and witnesses for Jesus to take the life changing messages of salvation, love and hope to the youth generation.
GTABYM strives to help troubled and at-risk youth who are hurting, bewildered and misplaced find the resources they need to live a better life. We want to help youth overcome addictions; abuse, hurt, pain, and poverty, especially those released from Juvenile Detention Centers and youth prisons become good citizens and productive leaders.
GTABYM goal is to challenge, equip and awaken dreams, gifts, talents and the anointing of God in the hearts of young people. We want to help empower and provide the tools and resources these kids need to further their education, go to college, trade school, enroll in job training & placement programs or become entrepreneurs.
